2024 Commencement

Congratulations to the members of the Porter College and Transfer Community at Porter College Graduating class of 2024!

Our Commencement Ceremony will be held on Saturday June 15, 2024 at 9:00 am (Academic Procession of Graduates begins at 8:45 am) on the East Field. 

Our commencement speaker will be Singer Songwriter, and Porter alumna, Gillian Welch.

Registration is OPEN NOW through May 13!  All Porter College affiliates and Members of the Transfer Community at Porter College* may register.  Other non-affiliated students may register on a “first come - first serve” basis and participate in the Porter Ceremony until we reach venue capacity.

*Transfer students, regardless of college affiliation, who were assigned to live at Porter College during at least their first year at UCSC, ‘21 - ‘22, 22’-’23, or current year.
