Join us this weekend for the inaugural
Porter Chalk Festival
A two-day event to be held between the Porter Apartments!!!
The Schedule:
This Saturday, April 6th from 11am to 7pm
-Festival atmosphere with Sno Cones, popcorn, spontaneous-chalking zones and lots of artists at work
This Sunday, April 7th from 10am - 1pm
-Artists finishing pieces, voting, judging, & winners announced
More Details:
· Student artists will be completing 5'x5' art pieces.
· Professional chalk artist, William Zin, will be creating a 3-demensional chalk piece that is 15'x8' !!!
· William Zin will host a chalking workshop for the student artists and other interested residents Saturday from 10-11am at the north end of the Porter Quad.
· The theme for the artwork is "The Future"
