Staff Appointments

☀️☀️☀️ We have plenty of Zoom appointments open this summer.  If you'd prefer to meet in person, please email us at PorterAdvisor@ucsc.edu and we'll do our best to accommodate ☀️☀️☀️

Appointments (Phone/Zoom/In-Person) can be made using the Navigate app. Be sure to select "Advising" to see available appointments with Porter College advisors.  Detailed instructions are here.

If you're not currently enrolled, you'll need to call or email us to schedule an appointment; only active students can make appointments in the Navigate Slug Success app.

Please note that you'll only be able to see availability for appointments up to two weeks from now. We have appointments available every week except at the end of December when campus closes for winter curtailment, and we're looking forward to talking with you!

College Office and ID Card Stickers:

☀️☀️☀️ Summer stickers can be picked up at the Summer Session office in Hahn. ☀️☀️☀️

In fall, winter, and spring you can pick up your sticker for your ID card at the Porter College office located in room D104 in the Porter Academic Building.

Peer Advisor Drop-in

☀️☀️☀️ No peer advising in the summer - they'll be back in the fall! ☀️☀️☀️

Our Porter Peer Advisors can assist students with tasks like navigating the MyUCSC portal, enrollment (adding, swapping, dropping and editing courses), finding the best GE or elective course for their needs, and connecting them to other resources on campus, etc. You can find their schedule below:
