To ensure a smooth enrollment experience (and first quarter), please complete the following steps before your enrollment date. You may begin enrolling in classes online during your "enrollment appointment" time, which will be visible to you in your MyUCSC portal.

Step 6: Start Networking immediately
- Services for Transfer and Re-entry Students (STARS) is a good place to start.
- Attend faculty office hours.
- Seek out events sponsored by your major and division.

- This Center is available all year long to Porter students for any writing project, question or need. The Center is located at Oakes College, Room 111. Students are encouraged to book appointments online as drop-in hours are lmited (look for the booknow icon on the Westside Writing Center's website.
