Learning Support and Tutoring Services
UC Santa Cruz has many learning support services available to assist you as you plan your academic career. Review the available resources below and consider how these learning support resources will help you reach your goals. Your college academic adviser can assist you with referrals as needed for these services.
Learning Support Resources
- Modified Supplemental Instruction (MSI): Modified Supplemental Instruction gives students the opportunity to learn together in small groups led by advanced Student Learning Assistants.
- Tutoring Services: Services are designed to help students excel academicall
- One-on-one writing tutoring for Writ 2 and other classes.
- Drop-in math and drop-in writing tutoring.
Mathematics Private Tutoring: to hire a private Math tutor.
Academic Excellence Program (ACE): Brings Science, Technology, and Engineering (STEM) students together in small discussion sections that accompany the large math and science lectures.
Westside Writing Center: Writing tutoring tutoring services designed to support students in your first and second quarters at UCSC.
